the Great Australian Albo (Albotross)

The Albotross

Albo, 15 minutes you will never get back

Albo, the man of the moment, “the statesman”. Silver tie, dark suit, what an image. Albo is a politician made for social media, “O” what a great Australia! Bob would be so proud!

It is just a bloody shame he is so pathetic, a national broadcast, and he says nothing. I would like to write 500 words on how Albo (the Albotross) mapped out how he was going to handle any crisis that comes his way, how “HE” had a plan. The Albotross, showing leadership, “the Australian way”. the Albotross

You know the Australian way. I should say that again, in case you did not hear it, “the Australian way”.

Go have fun at Easter, go travel, burn that fuel. Just don’t take more than you need, only fill your tank ¾ full, and leave that other bit for the next person. “That is the Australian way.” Should I say that again, or is it a little over the top? The Albatross probably had trouble remembering whether the focus group said to say it four or five times.

What a media wh*re. Someone got in his ear and said, “Rudd did it. Morrison did. You should do it. It doesn’t matter that you have nothing to say, you will look great.” The only thing the Albatross forgot to do was hold the publicity conference at his multi-million-dollar house on the harbour; that would have looked even better.

What has politics become in Australia when it is more important to be seen, than to do something? All politicians are the same, as long as they are seen on TV, heard on radio, get their face on YouTube or in the paper, they are “doing something”. Oh God, when will someone realise that 30% of the vote is not a majority? You are just the last loser standing.

All I can say is, let’s hope this does not develop into a real crisis, because Australia has no leadership. You thought covid was bad, the Albotross will ruin our country in our lifetime.
